A look into Embroidery

Embroidery in Fashion

Embroidery has been a major trend this year and it has had a huge impact on fashion. We have seen stunning pieces of embroidery on a large range of fabrics: from leather and denim to even silk. Embroidery adds a sort of beautiful intricacy to even the most minimalist of garments but does it in a subtle way. Not only clothing has been touched by this embroidery trend, we have seen embroidered belts bags and even shoes in stores.

Want to follow this trend but not sure how to? Here are a few simple way to add a little embroidery to your wardrobe without being OTT.

1. Cotton Shirt

This garment is so simple to style! Pair it, simply, with jeans and trainers for a casual look or if you want some thing dressier, a black leather skirt and black boots.

2. Embroidered Jeans

Again, these are very simple to incorporate into your wardrobe. You can either match these with a colourful top that matches the embroidery or simply just a plain black or white top. The cut of jeans is down to your own personal style and taste.

3. Embroidery shoes

These are also an easy thing to wear as you could pair them with a very plain outfit and they will really pop. However, if these are brightly embroidered you could be bold and wear a mix of different colours to match the embroidered colours on the shoes to create a funky, bright and eye catching look.

4. Embroidery belt

Just like the shoes this can either be worn with a plain outfit that needs a bit of colour. This creates a\ very sophisticated look by add just a hint of colour and making the belt pop. This could, again, be worn as part of a bright outfit to tie all the colours together.
