It was all yellow...
Ashleigh: Sunshine through the rain
Ashleigh is wearing a white bardot shirred crop top (£2, Primark), Black culotte trousers (£12, Primark), Yellow rain coat (£45, Topshop) and platform black Old Skool Vans. This outfit is a prime example of how to style up a basic black and white outfit using a block of colour. Raincoats in bright colours are very in this year so it made perfect sense for us to bring this into our block colour lookbook. This oufit would be great for summer/fall as the jacket could be taken off and worn around the waist.
Emily: Lemon with Lace
Emily is wearing a light yellow lace dress up-cycled into a two-piece ( Topshop £75) paired with red converse to create contrast. This look is perfect for a fancy date or even a spring/summer wedding. Although she is styling down with her converse, this look could easily become more sophisticated by adding some heels and a small clutch. Clashing colours creates new depth to an outfit that would have previously been overlooked.
Lisa: Loud and Proud
Lisa is wearing a bright yellow bandeau top (Zara, £6.99) Paired with some light blue ripped jeans (River Island, £25) and some old skool vans. Though simple, this outfit certainly makes an impact and is a perfect casual summer look for chilling with friends or heading out for ice-cream. Although a lot of skin is showing this look could easily be made more weather appropriate by adding a long cardigan or bomber jacket.
