Monochrome Lookbook

For our monochrome lookbook we decided to have two looks each, one that was dressier and also a more casual alternative. Here are our outfits!

Casual Looks!

Emily-

Emily is wearing a white t-shirt with a black spaghetti strap dress (H&M, £15) and black Converse. We picked this outfit as it is a very comfy choice yet still looks totally stylish at the same time.  Pairing this with converse adds to the relaxed feel of this outfit by offering a comfy shoe option. Converse are one of those transitional footwear items that can be paired with virtually anything.

Lisa-

Lisa is wearing a white t-shirt with a black lettuce hem around the bottom, sleeves and neckline (Zara, £5.99). We paired this top up with black and white dog-tooth culottes (Zara, £24.99) and black old skool Vans. This outfit is a mix of different pieces from casual shoes and top to a more dressier trouser. The pairing of all these mixed pieces creates a sophisticated outfit that is still considered casual.

Ashleigh-

Ashleigh is wearing a white shirred crop top (Primark, £2) with a pair of black and white mixed stripe trousers (New Look, £27.99). Again, being a casual top paired with a more dressy trouser, we put a pair of trainers with this outfit to give it more of a casual edge. With this outfit we decided to go for a pair of black and white Nike SB's (Schuh, £65).

Fancy Looks!

Emily-

Emily is wearing a black bandeau (New Look, £3.99), black and white striped trousers (Topshop, £39) and black lace up heels (Schuh, £10). We choose this outfit because of the stunning silhouette it created on the body. Its tight top contrasts with the loose culottes to create a stunning streamline look. We added a black leather jacket (M&S, £30) to show that people who prefer a loose fitting silhouette can pair this outfit up with a jacket.

Lisa-

Lisa is wearing a black long sleeve polo neck t-shirt (Primark, £3) and a black and white checked skirt (Primark, £6) paired with black heeled boots (Primark, £16). We chose this because it is a sophisticated and smart outfit but it also suits the fast-approaching autumn season with the mix of the turtle-necked top and the skirt made from a thicker fabric. We chose a pair of boots for this look to add to the sophisticated vibe it gave us and, again, to suit the transition between seasons.

Ashleigh-

Ashleigh is wearing a white off-shoulder blouse (Primark, £10) paired with a black denim skirt and black belt (Primark, £8 and £3). This outfit could be dressy or casual depening in the shoes you pair it with. We decided to pair this with a small block-heeled velvet sandal (Schuh, £9.99) to give it more of a dressy feel.
