Our top 5 must have accessories!!

Top 5 must have accessories

1. Hoops
Recently making their way back into fashion, hoops are, in our opinion a must have for everyday outfits or even for nights out. Previously having connotations of being huge and
"trashy", hoop earrings are being worn by people with different styles who wouldn't have worn them before. There are many different styles and sizes that have been worn as each person has their own taste and suits different sizes. Us for example: Ashleigh prefers a medium sized hoop whereas Lisa is more of a fan of a smaller hoop. It's all about playing around with size to gauge what you like best!

2. Statement ring
If your more of a minimalist when it comes to your jewelry a single statement ring is a must have for you. Many people like layering rings up however we both agree that a single more intricate ring is our favourite way to wear rings. We are actually both currently wearing the silver Pandora daisy chain ring which we find perfect if you wear bracelets and watches but don't want to be wearing too much jewelry at the one time.

3. Fine chain necklace
With everyday outfits - if you are not a fan of bold statement jewelry - a small, fine chain necklace with a pendant on it is perfect. This goes with all types of tops as it is so minimalistic. Layering different lengths of these and breaks up the area of bare skin between your cleavage and face, especially when wearing lower cut tops. These kind of necklaces are so wearable: Emily has a fine crystal heart and Lisa wears a slightly larger metal heart pendant from Tiffany and Co.

4. Black belt
We cannot express how much a simple leather or faux leather black belt is a MUST for your wardrobe! This item can really tie an outfit together. Jeans, skirts and trousers - each can be accessorized with a staple black leather belt. A staple black belt can come in many different shapes and sizes from wide ones to skinny belts and these can have a range of different buckles. A recent black belt trend was with the silver cowboy style buckle which is a more statement piece. If a bold buckle is not your style, just go for something simple! Remember everyone has different tastes so you do you!

5. Watch
Who doesn't like to know what time is it? You have more of a choice of watches these days, not just a basic leather strap. Link strap watches are dressier and feel like more of a piece of jewelry than old fashion leather strap watches used to. We have the watches in the photos above: Ashleigh has the Marc Jacobs as she likes how simple it is and Lisa has the Michael Kors as she liked how it was rose gold but the details were silver and matched her ring.

(All photos were found on google or pinterest and we do not claim to own them. As we are based in Paisley, we are passionate about, and fully back, Paisley's bid for city of culture in 2021. #Paisley2021)
